Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC
Montepulciano grapes are processed with a limited contact between must and skins (about 12 hours) in order to give life to this Montepulciano Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC “Frentano”. The must is then slowly fermented at low temperature, around 13°C, to enhance the olfactory fineness. Following a period of aging on the lees, in order to make the wine more harmonious and persistent at the taste.
The color is of pale red cherry; the smell is persistent and fruity; scents of berries are present. The taste is round, dry and pleasant. It is a versatile wine, suitable for many pairings, such as soups, first courses, fried and roasted fish and pizza. To be served at 10-12°C. Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
